Are you a non-Catholic interested in becoming a Catholic or Learning more about the Catholic faith?
We welcome you. The process of formation is called the Rite of Christian Initiation.
It is the church’s way of welcoming new members, but it is also intended to renew and deepen the belief of each Catholic.
Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)
For those who desire to become Catholic or to complete their initiation into the Catholic Church, our parish offers a preparation process called the Rite of Christian initiation of Adults. For those who are consider becoming Catholic, the R.C.I.A provides an opportunity to learn about the Faith and ask questions in a welcoming environment. For more information, please contact the Office of Religious Education.
Adult Sacramental Class Fee: $40
When registering for RCIA classes, please bring a baptismal certificate if applicable. Registration can be done at the parish office during regular office hours. Classes are scheduled to start October 6.
Rite of Christian Initiation of Children (RCIC)
The R.C.I.C., an adaptation of the R.C.I.A., is a sacramental preparation process intended for children who whatever reason, were not baptized as infants.
We also include (age 7 and older) who are already baptized and are preparing for the sacraments of penance, Holy Eucharist and Confirmation.
Men's Spirituality Group
They meet every third Saturday of the month from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. in the CCE building. The next meeting is schedule for August 19.
Bible Study (English and Spanish)
Meeting are held every Thursday from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. There is an English and Spanish group. Click here for the meeting schedule. Facilitator: Janie Martinez
English Prayer Group
This group meets Monday nights at 6:30 p.m. in the church. Ministry leader: Robert Zamarripa
Spanish Prayer Group
This group meets Tuesday nights at 6:30 p.m. in the church. Ministry leader: Rosie Withers
Life Teen
All CCE students in 8th to 12th grade are welcome to join LIFE TEEN (Leading Teens Closer to Christ). The group meets Sundays from 10 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. in the Parish Hall. Participation is required for quinceaneras and Confirmation students.
Catechists
Teach children/youth Catholic education adhering to catechetical teachings of the parish. Need Kinder to Elementary (Kinder to 5th), Middle School (6th – 8th grade) or High School (9th –12th grade) Rite of Christian Initiation R.C.I.A. (searching to make an informed decision about becoming a Catholic).
